Office Flooded Requiring Extensive Work in Mississauga
The ruptured water main spewed many gallons of water into this vacant office building in Mississauga. The Before Photo depicts the still clear and relatively clean water, about an inch in depth, reflecting light from the window. These glue-down carpet tiles lost adhesion and lifted from the concrete pad. SERVPRO ASD applied structural drying techs removed the non-salvageable flooring material as soon as most of the water was pumped from the office suite. The stacked tiles were ready for disposal even as our crew set up advanced drying equipment to preserve the interior of the structure from secondary water damage. We can monitor the progress of the drying using Thermo hygrometers and climate control to restore a standard Relative Humidity and help prevent mould and other microbial growth.
