Fires that are extinguished by the first responders leave behind destroyed building elements along with water damage. This double-dose of damage can be cleaned up and restored by our skilled SERVPRO FSRT fire and smoke damage restoration technicians. We can coordinate the service with our customers, the insurance adjuster, and third-party contractors first to secure the structure and then begin mitigation. We can dispose of the burned rubbish and use our equipment and products to clean the burned areas as shown in the After Photo. We can place air scrubbers and hydroxyl generators to help clear the air of odors and particles from the smoke and the demolition. Thermal fogging is often needed to reach the nooks and crannies to reduce the presence of malodors further. The build back can begin once the area is cleaned, deodorized, disinfected, and dry.
