Mississauga Basement Area Under Water
The storm and snowmelt resulted in copious volumes of category 3, Black Water, covering the basement service area of this commercial structure in Mississauga. The block walls and concrete pad can take many days to dry properly--to ensure that the moisture content is back to standard levels, thus protecting the materials from further degradation. Some wallboard can be removed and disposed of, which also allows better access to dry the framing. The After Photo shows an air mover and an LGR low grain refrigerant dehumidifier completing the drying process. Our team can monitor the progress with moisture measuring devices and return the structure to our customer, "Like it never even happened."
